   Recovery Happens
Today is the beginning of the rest of your life. Our life is a journey of searching, stumbling, becoming stuck, overcoming obstacles, mastering ourselves and our world, and growing beyond our self-imposed limits. We all seek ways to expand our lives through maintaining our emotional well-being, creating a life rich with purpose, and empowering ourselves to live life on our terms.
We all are seeking to create in our life an atmosphere of control--that we are the captains of our ship.
We long to develop a feeling of accomplishment and achievement in our lives.
Join us in our recovery education groups and 12 step meetings here at the Club house and we can all get a better understanding of ourselves and learn how to live without mood altering substances.
( One Day At A Time)

 Positive Attitudes
Listen to internal dialogue. Divide one or more sheets of paper into two columns and, for a few days, jot down in the left column all the negative thoughts that come into your head. Rewrite each thought in a positive way in the second column. Practice doing this in your mind until it becomes a habit. (For example, “I’ll never get this finished by the end of the day!” could become, “I will probably get most of this finished by the end of the day.”)

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Happiness is an attitude. We either make ourselves miserable, or happy and strong. The amount of work is the same.

The only disability in life is a bad attitude.

The only difference between a good day and a bad day is your attitude.
